Order Puller

Breakroom Choices has been delivering custom refreshment solutions for 30 years in the Salt Lake City, Northern Utah and Phoenix Metro Area. We’re looking to grow our team and are currently hiring for an Order Puller position. If you are detail-oriented with great communication skills and thrive in a small team environment, we’re looking for you! We offer PTO, 401(k) match and a profit sharing plan.

Job Responsibilities:

Pulling orders for our drivers to deliver
Loading orders onto trucks
Maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications:

Must have and maintain a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Have the ability to maintain composure and handle frequent changes or unexpected disruptions.
Strong attention to detail.
Be able to lift up to 30 lbs and push up to 100 lbs continuously.
Please note that employees who are offered a position are subject to a background check in accordance with state and Federal laws.

Route Driver

We’re looking to grow our team and are currently hiring a Route Driver position. If you are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and have great communication skills, we’re looking for you! We offer PTO, 401(k) match and a profit sharing plan.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for the micro-market.
Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro-market and other related equipment.
Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets. When necessary, report defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators.
Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that the truck is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled markets following outlined operational procedures.
Informs regular clients and customers of new products or services, listens to and resolves service complaints.
Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Jon Evans

Owner and CEO

Born and raised in Utah, I started my journey in the vending industry at only 17 years old. After being in the industry for several years, gaining knowledge in the industry and seeing where it could be improved, I decided to start a company called Healthy Choice Vending with my brother, Darren, and our father. The future was bright! Together, we designed and manufactured a fruit vending machine, which was non-existent at this point. In my 33 years of being in the vending industry, I’ve been able to witness our company’s exponential growth, alongside the industry’s changes. When I’m not actively seeking ways to invigorate the vending industry, I love camping, fishing, and enjoying classic cars. I’ve been married for 25 years and have four children, who share my passion for the vending industry and continue to push the boundaries of Breakroom Choices. Ryan Bunting

VP of Business Development

In 2016, I had the privilege of joining Breakroom Choices. My extensive background in retail, customer service, inventory management, account management, and business development. My expertise has led to the company’s expansion into Office Coffee Services, Residential Micro-Markets, Breakroom Markets, Office Pantry Services, and Hotel Services. When it comes to the vending industry, I firmly believe Breakroom Choices is not “just another vending service” for many reasons! When I’m not helping the company expand, I love spending time with my family here in Utah, as well as anything related to sports (including fantasy football), crypto currency, food, and films. Patrick McMullan

Owner and CFO

In September of 2022, I joined the ownership group of Breakroom Choices. After spending over a decade as the President of TurnKey Corrections and Co-Founder/President of Three Square Market (an industry technology partner), I’ve become a widely respected leader and a pioneer for technological innovation. As a result, I’m frequently requested as a speaker and advisor for numerous topics, including leadership and responsible technology. My wife and I have four amazing daughters, two wonderful son-in-laws, one granddaughter, and a new grandson. While I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in MN, we have resided in Gilbert, AZ since 2001. After spending many years traveling while being part of the great team at TKC and 32M, I’m excited to spend more time in Arizona working with the BRC team to grow our brand! Colin Nelson

Before the vending industry, I was in the grocery industry for over 15 years. I graduated from LDS Business College, UT with a degree in Applied Business Technology. When I’m not helping BRC grow you can find me enjoying life with my family in Syracuse, UT, studying history (especially WWII), or probably in a Mexican restaurant.

Darren Evans

Owner and COO

As Jon’s brother, it’s been my privilege to continue growing Breakroom Choices from our humble beginnings back in 1994. Long ago, my brother and I – along with our father – had a vision to manufacture a fruit vending machine, specifically for schools. Why weren’t there any healthy vending options? We successfully designed and manufactured the first fruit vending machine, which led to many other opportunities in the traditional vending world, as well as breakroom markets. I’m married with three children. It’s been a joy to see the third generation of my family join this exciting and constantly evolving industry. Tim Patrick

VP of Micro-Market and Vending Operations BRC Salt Lake City

As the longest tenured Breakroom Choices employee, I’ve been around since Breakroom Choices’ very first market (which we still service!). In the beginning, I started as a route driver. Since then, I’ve steadily grown in knowledge when it comes to everything surrounding vending operations: account management, equipment maintenance, and customer service. I’ve been able to witness the expansion of Breakroom Choices from ideas to large, corporate offices with entire teams to support our many markets (over 200). When I’m not solving or innovating within the vending and micro-market world, you can find me cheering for my lifelong loves: Utah Jazz and Atlanta Braves! I also love to spend my time outdoors with my wife and three children, which includes fly fishing, backpacking, archery hunting, golfing, basketball, and baseball. Since 1999, I’ve been in vending machine service and repairs. In 2014, I joined the Breakroom Choices family – and I haven’t looked back! It’s been a pleasure to see the vending world change over the years and service machines across Utah. If I’m not out fixing a problem, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and anything related to NASCAR.

Landon Biegen

As one of the original employees of Breakroom Choices Phoenix when it opened, which was early 2021, I’ve been able to witness the growth of BRC Phoenix. I love ensuring customers are happy with every aspect of our service! If I’m not at work, I enjoy golf, dogs, and fixing nearly anything (cars, computers, and more). After spending over 5 years as the Director of Operations for BRC’s technology partner, Three Square Market, I had the privilege to join BRC’s Phoenix operation as a General Manager in January of 2022. After leading an operational team in over nine countries, I would consider myself an expert in all aspects of breakroom markets. My wife and I live in Gilbert, AZ, although I’m an avid St. Louis fan as a graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. (I was an All-American baseball player!)
